It was awesome. They played Dream House, Sunbather, Unrequited and The Pecan Tree.

It's a long shot, but I've always wanted to hear Daedalus live. I assume whatever they play it'll be spectacular, though I've had a fondness for their demo. Nothing they've done compares to Sunbather though, seriously. Can't wait to see them.

In addition, I like Irresistible and Please Remember has Neige from Alcest on it. Kinda cool. Windows, meh.

I heard that show was amazing. I'll be seeing them next month, so excited. Thing about the interludes is that they were always there. Kind of staple at this point. Sunbather is indulgent as hell. We went from two four song releases two a mammoth seven track followup. The band did what they've been doing, but bigger and better.

The destabilization of genres? Hard to say. Clearly people trying to figure something to gripe about with Sunbather. Good luck finding way, I say.

:O At least you've seen them live! haha. I remember not being able to sleep one night with a million thoughts in my head, then as soon as i put them on repeat, it gave me the most relaxing feeling ever. Such an awesome band.

Yeah Gantz is some good shit for sure. New Converge 'dropped' today and is immense as always, I'm sure you're on/will be on that shit asap. Also, I started reading Preacher, really enjoying it, waiting to get a bit of free time to fire through a lot more of it. Cheers for sending that my way.

Good lord that would have been an amazing show! It broke my heart to see the Deftones with Dillinger last year, new Dillinger could not have been a worse choice for a supporting act.

I'm pretty bummed I never got to see them live, but yeah, Denali just blow so many female fronted alt groups away.

Been chasing similar content like a dog chases its tale man, you'll be hard pressed to find similar, but check out arkangel and perhaps azrael, thirteenth cross and maybe early poison the well... it's all good... feels like a challenge that too, i'll try and find some more good wholesome stuff in the mean time for further recommendations...

My thanks for the add, and i couldn't agree more... "Broken promises, broken words, you've broken everything, but, i will not break." *grins* Happy listening.

Sorry this reply is months late dude, you checked out that new Trap Them yet? I'm loving it. I just found out they're playing my town later this year, looking forward to that. As for new shit, the new Touche Amore, Ampere, Thursday, Cave In, PJ Harvey and Tim Hecker albums are pretty swell. I'm going to check out the new Bon Iver album in a but too, I've heard good things about that from folks.

Yeah really gutted about Throats packing shit in, so many really good UK bands go the same way, it fucking sucks. Really liking Black Masses btw, not quite as good as their masterpieces, but still great vibes. I reckon I'll check out Burning Love asap.
