haha weirdo! :-P that made me chuckle though and you can type pretty well for someone whos been drinking for a long time, most of that made sense ;-) haha. I honestly have no idea what you mean about the myspace kids reference though, as I never signed up to that site and besides, it sounds like its dying a horrible death these days since new ways of stalking people were invented in the form of facebook and twitter.... But you are right I've grown tired of trying to convince people to appreciate decent music with some actual meaning behind it, apart from the mind-numbing crap you get in the charts but the only responses I get are groans, vacant looks or them ignoring me...but oh well I guess you can only train a monkey to understand so much right? haha Hope you're enjoying your hangover ;-)

Yeah, pretty much all of my friends don't share the same kind of music taste as me, which has made me glad to have found this site where I can share my tastes with like-minded individuals and not have to constantly try and convice others why this or that person are so great! I personally quite like the slightly rough-around-the-edges sound as I do with most of my favourite artists, I'm not a fan of anything thats too overproduced or enhanced, makes it less personal I guess? And yes I agree, a lot of truth in that quote...I wouldn't want to live without either! :-)

He's such an under-rated artist and one of the best song writers of a generation and yes I love that quote too. It's my favourite of anything he's been involved in and thats saying something because there are so many great ones to choose from! :-)
