5 Mar 2009, 8:30Here's a review I wrote for the new release Dark Dark Woods by Bloomington band husband&wife.
21 Feb 2009, 20:00Fri 20 Feb – Ben Kweller, The Watson Twins
Last night I saw Ben Kweller live at the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre in Bloomington, IN, and it is easily my favorite concert of 2009 so far. He was absolutely amazing, kind to the audience, jamming out the old school stuff as well as the new tunes from his recent release Changing Horses, and just having a great time being on stage. I got to meet him after, which made me feel just about as excited as Christmas.
Anyway, you can find a more thorough review here: http://hipsterspinster.wordpress.com/2009/02/21/ben-kweller/
15 Feb 2009, 22:47If you like a lot of the music I do, then you probably wouldn't mind checking out my blog: http://hipsterspinster.wordpress.com
There's already tons of coverage on Midwest bands, such as The Delicious, Cast Spells,Prizzy Prizzy Please, Totally Michael, and many more.
Also check out my radio show "Indieana Unsigned" on WIUX-LP. It's Indiana University's student radio station. You can tune in at 99.1 FM, or online at http://www.wiux.org. My show broadcasts live Monday evenings at 7PM.
1 Nov 2007, 3:02I never felt much of a strong connection with the state I've lived in for the past 10 years. It's cold here in Indiana, and awfully boring in most places. Then I ran smack into the music scene and fell in love. I still want to live someplace warmer eventually, but here are some bands worth my current permanent residence.

26 Sep 2007, 21:49I'm taking a History of Rock class on roots (blues, jazz) to the British Invasion. So that is why a lot of the music right now is Robert Johnson, Hank Williams, Big Mama Thornton, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley,Little Richard,Johnny Cash,Fats Domino, and the like. But this music is also amazing and very inspring to me, so you should check it out!
