Alright guys, this year has presented us a lot of fantastic records, I'd like to say some words about my favourite releases. Sometimes it was hard to explain why I liked just these releases, well I made some noise, if you hadn't listened to albums mentioned below yet, I advice you to do it.

Great leaders 3 is:
1. Deftones - Diamond Eyes
While Chino Moreno gets fat, he and his friends make us happy with new genuine guitar riffs and vocal lines. Perhaps Chino's voice is still the best among all modern alternative bands, and in Diamond Eyes he keeps on breaking all the known and unknown rules of genre, using his voice as a musical instrument. Idea to use the voice as a tool for making background in a song is not rather new, but he knows how to properly make a listener horny. It's fantastic. Chris Carpenter is amazing playing his 8-string guitar, math metal riffs (!) shock a bit, but after listening album for several times, you know that all was arranged how it had to be. Number one of the year, undoubtedly.
