Bo Diddley died today. And while I was not the biggest fan I wish I'd have gone to see him live. Music would not be what it is today without him. Everyone (The Stones, The Smiths, Buddy Holly, The Clash, The Who, Elvis, The Stooges, Bowie, and many more) was influenced by his "Bo Diddley Beat" You'd know it when you hear it.

Recently I went to see Dylan but missed Chuck Berry when he came. I hope he doesn't die before I can see him. Strummer & Cash both did & I regret not going to see them when I had the chance.

Anyway go listen to some Bo Diddley.
