My plan was to come down for tomorrow as that's the day my ticket is for, but it clashes with one of my lectures, so Wednesday would be better.

I've got a standing ticket for tuesday for MBV and wednesday would be better for me. Would be up for swapping, but I'm coming down from Canterbury to the gig, so wouldn't be able to get it to you in time for tomorrow, unless you have any ideas?

Sorry mate, I've only just seen your post on my wall. That's really good that they're supporting Agalloch. I'm excited!

i think the best album to start with is Hotel (2006)

Best Moby album to start with, that would be Play, for sure. Although it might cause you to expect a little bit too much of his other albums.

awesome! two favourite albums methinks.. :D gay that i couldn't go though. meh, ne'ermind! :) looks as though you're going to be busy over the coming months.. :D that it for your festivals then this year? i'm still considering working at reading. poor line up but i'll only get to see so many bands anyway and i don't have to pay for it! and technically i'll be with friends (i already know a few of the people i'd be working with from download).. :)

oh, the envy.. :P i couldn't afford both days for hv and my mate really wanted to see black country communion (whom i caught the start of and wasn't terribly impressed with). i could've gone to hv saturday at the last minute for cheap but i was exhausted and it was a lot of travel and i'd have missed anathema anyway so i just cut my losses and left it. so gutted though, i REALLY wanted to see anathema. i was hoping to see them when they toured last year (or early this year, my memory escapes me), but that also fell through for various reasons.. what did they play? :D

actually, i say that... there was so much more for sonisphere, bands, randomers, running into people. but yeah, soni was ace.. i didn't end up going on saturday for hv, so i missed 70% of the bands i wanted to see.. :( but graveyard and neurosis were amazing and heat exhaustion isn't that bad.. :P

well, let's see... highlights: graveyard and neurosis at hv (and an ederly canadian couple we chatted to on the tube who wanted to come with us... they were amazing). for sonisphere, gojira!, kylesa!, pulled apart by horses (cos i'm pretty sure the vocalist threw up on stage and that's fairly hard core), metallica and orange goblin, methinks (oh, and and an irish couple who couldn't get over my mates, a nun and a monkey). :P ..what about you? :) ..did you go to i'll be your mirror as well then?

we kind of all assumed it had ended, then they finished it and everyone expected something else. i couldn't even clap at this cause i was laughing so hard. it just amused me greatly.. did you catch saade? i quite enjoyed them. they sound better live than they do recorded though.
