Hello ArticFox! We saw that you have a pretty good music taste and thought that you'd maybe like our music as well. We are three girls from the forests of Sweden and we are going to record our very first album in Woodstock this summer! We would love if you checked out this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sc_SKuEZm0o ! Let us know what you think (it's much appreciated) by commenting the video, and also check out our cover of 'Kathy's Song' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44kjqZUC5PU that we got the chance to play live for Paul Simon! Love, VIDAR

Yes, I was at that gig at the Deaf Institute (Sept 10); it seems like yesterday. I remember seeing you there on the front row. I was also at the front, but at the side by the entrance to the smoking terrace. I also saw them at Night & Day in Feb 09 and at Primavera 09. Sadly with Chris Reimer now dead, that is it for Women. But check out this http://androgynousmind.bandcamp.com/ there is a connection, but I can't recall what it is, duhh.

Just thought you might be interested in Kissing Just For Practice - a Belle & Sebastian disco. It's taking place this coming Friday the 29th of Oct. The venue is the Star and Garter on Fairfield Street, Manchester with guest DJ's Dan & Hannah from the hugely successful and wonderful PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER club night. We play B&S every 4 or 5 songs (That's the bits of bread) and the succulent filler is gorgeous, sugar-coated indiepop, new wave, sixties bubblegum and anything else of that ilk. We start around 9pm and continue until the wee hours of the morning. £3 for NUS members and anyone sporting a B&S badge £4 anyone else £5 anyone arriving after midnight. Hope to see you there. KJFP x Also we are also hosting the official B&S aftershow party at the same venue following their M'cr Apollo gig in December. Tickets on sale here for £4.50 (inc booking fee) - https://secure.ticketline.co.uk/tickets/13249276/belle-and-sebastian-aftershow-party/manchester-star-and-garter/2010-12-07

Music you have in common includes Joanna Newsom, Animal Collective, The National, Darwin Deez and Caribou. I think you should consider coming to the gig I'm putting on in September. http://www.last.fm/event/1606662+Carefully+Planned+presents... xx

WHY? as well as LC! were phenomenal. Why? I had really high expectations cause I'm a huge fan (especially of Yoni haha) and wasn't too sure about Eskimo Snow but they blew me away. Absolutely stunning! Yoni is great, those dance moves! And the rest are just top musicians. So yeah, really enjoyed myself. LC! were even better. They are my fave band in the world for a reason eh :-) But seriously, they were so energetic even though Gareth didn't have much voice. Definitely celebrating last day of tour. Copy Haho were brilliant! A lot better than in Leeds, I thought. And the audience responded so enthusiastically, god knows what they were on as this never happens! Anyways, in the middle of LC!'s set my heart melted into a puddle causeGarethdedicatedThereAreListedBuildingsToMe (don't want to put too much emphasis on this, sounds a bit braggy). I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. They did Broken Heartbeats as encore in the audience, was awesome! And Rob Sparky Deathcap is supernice.
