What got you into number one?
-My 9th grade biology b teacher introduced me to Them, i've been a fan ever since.

Why the hell have you listened to that so much?
-Because Their music is my comfort and food for my soul, and I can't feel ok if I don't listen to Their music every day.

-Ana Ng
-Spiraling Shape

Something you think you’d thoroughly enjoy doing with the band?
-Marrying John Linnell. Does that count? He's, like, half of the band. And the rest of them would probably be at the wedding.

Favorite memory of the artist?
-Meeting John Linnell. :D

How many times listened to number two?
-198 (haha, pathetic compared to my first).

What got you into them?
-After I became obsessed with They Might Be Giants, and checked out John Linell's solo album and fell in love with it.

What makes you like them so much?
-He's just wonderful... writes the most beautiful music ever, and awesome lyrics, he has a beautiful voice, and he's just perfect in general.

-The Second Longest Night

-Meeting him

Would you pay thirty dollars to see them in concert?
-yeah. If half the members weren't dead. :( R.I.P. John and George.

John Lennon

Any fave songs/memories?
-All My Loving is one of my favourite songs of theirs, because I have fond memories of my dad playing it for me as a little kid.

How many times have you listened to four?

Would you go fishing with him?
-I'd go fishing with any of the members. Especially Lou Reed, John Cale, and Mo Tucker. And Nico, even though she's not really a member.

Any particular emotions run through you when you listen?
-Depends on the song. 'Pale Blue Eyes' and 'Stephanie Says' have each made me cry before, 'Sweet Jane' and 'I'll Be Your Mirror' make me feel warm and fuzzy, 'The Gift' makes me laugh a lot...

-Stephanie Says

What’s so intriguing about them?
-Wonderful, creative, accordion music. Accordions are love. It fits all my moods. And accordions are love.

-Weird question... not really.

-Tons and tons. On a scale of 1 to 10, <33333333.

I hear 7 is a magical number, is this band magical?
-Well, my '7' isn't 7 at all, because they're actually tied for #6. But good ol' Zappa is almost as magical as they come. If you don't believe me, go listen to 'Billy The Mountain'.

What are some of your favorite songs and what memories are attached to them?
-Billy The Mountain has been one of my faves since I heard it in july. I listened to the entire CD (Just Another Band From L.A.) over and over in the car on teh way to the Rock N Roll hall of fame. Also, during lunch that day, my mother offered me vegetables, and I did 'Call Any Vegetable'. :D

How long have you liked this artist?
-Since last year when I listen to my dad's old records of them.

What are some songs you like/why?
-Sunny Afternoon
-Party Line
-Autumn Almanac. (I like them cuz they rock).

Which member would you most enjoy a good square dance with?
-I'd square dance with Ray Davies any day. :D

-They're English. Which everyone already knows, but I don't care.

-What do you mean? 9 and 10 is way better than 15 and 16, or 20 and 21, or 49 and 50.

How long have you liked them?
-I've liked #9 since I saw them warm up for TMBG last year. And #10 since I heard him on TMBG podcast.

    This is a very random thing to glean from this entire journal, but I noticed that you like the song Venus in Furs. And that is too righteous. :) It's a great song, no doubt.
