Lewis Carroll's books Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass have been highly popular in their original forms, and have served as the basis for many subsequent works since they were published. They have been adapted directly into other media, their characters and situations have been appropriated into other works, and these elements have been referenced innumerable times as familiar elements of shared culture. Simple references to the two books are too numerous to list. I'd like to show you some music videos influenced by Alice's fantastic journey to Wonderland.

Aerosmith - Sunshine

Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For?

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers - Don't Come Around Here No More

Piero Pelù - Prendimi così

Robbie Williams - Tripping

Robbie Williams - You Know Me

And now a classic: Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit

Ah, I read the book a thousand times and I never got bored. Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit is the best song ever written about Alice In Wonderland by far.

imo, "White Rabbit" is one of the better song inspired Alice. (I recommend it Annihilator - "Never, Neverland" ;))

I too used to love Alice in Wonderland...but this was about to change the moment I had to break it into pieces and to discus it from different points of view - that's where politics and social criticism appeared. And I hate politics :((. I just wanted to see Alice in Wonderland as a nice little story...
