    На русском сейчас начал с пояснялочками, с ними даже интересней кажется, там же отсылки чуть ли не в каждом слове. И да, совсем забыл, у Фрущанте есть просто космическая запись 2010 года с Омаром, можешь вот прям с нее и начать! Особенно занятно угадывать, где чья гитара звучит

    Нет, пока не читал, сначала решил осилить таки Улисса :) начинать слушать Фру можно откуда угодно , на самом деле, если хочешь лоуфайную гитарку и вопли наркомана - первые два альбома, дальше начинаются заигрывания с электроникой и альт-роком вплоть до curtains, на котором Джон просто поет под акустику, empyrean прогрессировал до прога, pbx и letur lefr сам маэстро назвал прогрессивным синти-попом, там даже рэпчик встретить можно!

    That's great to hear you enjoyed! You're lucky that you were smart enough to be prepared and check some lyrics out. I knew I'd enjoy the show whatever they'd play, and so it was! There's a web that gives all playlists of shows (ones that were listed at least - check it: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-mars-volta/2012/hangar-11-tel-aviv-israel-bdf3d52.html and share yours). The performance was more than great (not more than dillinger's :D). And also the opening acts: Le Butcherettes (THESE GIRLS ARE NUTS HAHA) and Tiny Fingers (Some Israeli killer music machine)... It's funny we have similarities (most related to TMV), I just was driving with At The Drive-In today. Anyhow, I was at a great show of an israeli-based project called "J.Viewz", I will link you once I upload the vids from the show!

    That's awesome! I suppose I should warn you! In Israel they played mainly songs from the 2012 release, so you better love it before the show! And well, I do hope for you that they play some of 'De-Loused...' because it's the best album obviously. Tell me how it was! :p

    Your charts are also very nice, not as big as mine may be, but that doesn't matter in the end (okay, maybe it does because listening to music nearly 24/7 is pretty damn fine).
