i wasn't saying that LoL but i understand how it sounds, id still prefer thrash over classic metal or something like that. ya know bands like slayer absolutely annihilate black sabbath, ac dc etc, I still love aggression, thats the power behind metal!!! ok i like softer stuff but that came with time, i'm always going to be a rocker at heart/

its a great genre but i don't listen as much as i used to, when i first got into metal it was thrash with little amounts of nu metal, mostly slipknot above the rest, then that turned on it head lol its good to re visit this i guess, most other fans are too serious..
