Big Band (Orquesta de Jazz) Viene de la expresión inglesa que da referencia a 10 o más músicos de jazz. La orquesta se compone de 3-4 trompetas, 2 o más trombones, 4 saxofones, la sección rítmica (piano,guitarra,bajo, percusiones) Estas orquestas nacen propiamente entre 1920 y 1940.
