Directamente desde Génova, en pleno desarrollo del post-rock italiano, surge port-royal, banda formada el año 2000. Su música se orienta hacia la instrumentalización, el ambientalismo, y un cierto aire cósmico. La banda emergió de la idea de Attilio Bruzzone (guitarra, teclados) y Ettore Di Roberto (piano, teclados), a los que sucederían múltiples ingresos y cambios en la agrupación, pero siempre manteniendo la esencia.

complimenti per l ultimo album, è veramente fenomenale....e soprattutto non è la solita accozzaglia di brani, ogni canzone mi rimanda a un altra, e tutte mi parlano in una lingua nuova e ipnotica. la prima volta che ho sentito nights in kiev mi è ritornato in testa un ricordo di praga, tornare di notte nella camera dell albergo al 14 piano e guardare le luci della citta. erano almeno 6 anni che non pensavo a questa cosa. misteri del cervello! l unica nota dolente è che stiamo a 100 km di distanza ma per procurarmelo devo farmelo spedire dall estero :D
