Se convierte en la actriz mejor pagada de Alemania. Su canto tiene cierta similitud con Marlen Dietrch El publico la compara con las por ese entonces famosas: Garbo. Marlen Dietrich. Entre los años 1937 y 1943 las canciones de Zara son entonadas en calles. Sus canciones más conocidas son » Yes Sir» » Habanera». » Puede ser pecado amar?»Grabó infinidad de discos.
