that happens to me with d|p 1.1, 3, and 6. it used to happen to me with vivian & ondine when I had it on repeat every second I was awake. I finally stopped listening to it, but when I would walk into my room it would be there, loud and clear as the real thing. That's one of the greatest things about his loops, they can haunt you if you let them

@voicesda: You are right. The melodies that you heard are there. At the deep of the song. Exactly where you said that they are (more or less at 38:26). I heard them too :) Epic song, by the way.

"When you see with your eyes, the light stays on your retina for a very short period, like a second. Same thing happens with this music. By listening to the same melody over and over again, there is sort of an imprint of it in your hearing." How very interesting

they're eternal: the fields of sound, the forests of optics.

@voicesda: There is a similar effect in the field of optics: the so called flicker fusion rate (there actually might be another word in english for it, in german it's Nachbildwirkung). When you see with your eyes, the light stays on your retina for a very short period, like a second. Same thing happens with this music. By listening to the same melody over and over again, there is sort of an imprint of it in your hearing.

This is a bit of a odd question: Does any one else hear melodies in this song when they are not present? I keep hearing the melody that plays at 38:24 in some parts of the song when it isn't there. That's not the only melody or sound that I think I am hearing when in fact all I'm hearing is the same loop. Does anyone else have this sensation whilst listening to this?
