Wild Cherry fue una banda de Rock estadounidense de la década de los 70 formada en Ohio. Destacó por su estilo Rock, Funk y R&B. Su mejor hit fue en el año 1976, con la canción «Play that funky music», canción interpretada en 1990 por el rapero Vanilla Ice.
