Warrel Dane es el líder y vocalista de la banda de metal progresivo Nevermore. Vocalizó durante 5 años como cantante de ópera y posee un amplio rango vocal. Utiliza sus notas más altas en Sanctuary y Serpent’s Knoght, aunque últimamente también las aplica en Nevermore.
Entró en agosto de 2007 a grabar su primer disco en Solitario, «Praises To War Machine», que salió a principios de 2008, y contó con la colaboración del guitarrista de Soilwork, Peter Wichers.

well his solo album had adsolutely nothing to do with Nevermore's style.. if you expected sth more aggresive then you should hear Nevermore, and that's the point of making it as a solo album.. he wanted to express some things he had on his mind through a record of his own.. for me it was very very good, emotional and true!
