I saw them open for Rotting Christ and now I'm a fan! I love this album!

sounds like Whitesnake or something...not good at all. Meh.

Title track is decent, but agree with the general tone of 'this should be more exciting'. I hope Dread Sovereign is better, despite the samples sounding very similar (albeit more doomy).

For a "super-group" this sure is a dull album... Guess none of them are the "super-songwriters" in their respective bands! I've heard the main riffs of Sword of Damocles and Fire on the Mountain in 50 other songs, just very slightly different. Whole album is mid-paced, too.

In Helsinki they played most of their album plus Home of Once Brave, Under the Runes and Blood Fire Death.

They only played songs off their own album in Eindhoven. Don't expect Bathory material on the tour. Was very disappointing, though they still played better than on the album.

Someone can tell me about the setlist in the Rotting Christ tour? They still play Bathory songs?

This is how Manowar woul have sounded if they hadn't gone the Kings of Metal route.

very solid debut album, good songwriting, although i would have preferred a darker touch to the mix

I really like the album. Sword of Damocles is a killer track.

This doesn't sound like Bathory in the slightest, I can see why people expecting the tribute to be turned into homage being disappointed. It's a traditional sounding heavy/doom metal album and a good one at that. I'm a sucker for Alan Nemtheanga 's voice as well, great vocalist.

Avaible on Spotify. Well tagged btw. A bit disappointing. This is more heavy than viking, and I can't do the connection with Bathory sometimes.

I wish I'd seen them while they still were a Bathory tribute. Not impressed with the album tracks so far. I'm not going to pay to see this, but I would've for the Bathory material. Thanks LadyElvina for the links.
