Trail of Tears es una banda noruega de Gothic Metal formada en 1994 bajo el nombre de Natt, cambiándose el nombre a Trail of Tears en 1997, para reflejar los cambios en el sonido y la formación. La banda sigue el modelo clásico de Gothic Metal, combinando voces masculinas guturales con voces femeninas de soprano, acompañado de melodias de teclado.
