Un día 1 de mayo de 1967 nació Tim McGraw. Este artista durante su infancia se empapó de música negra y sobre todo de country. McGraw abandonó sus estudios en 1989 para seguir su carrera musical y su primer éxito llegó en 1992. Su segundo álbum, «Not a Moment Too Soon», fue un éxito de ventas para la música country en el año 1994.

why aren't any full tracks of tim's uploaded here? what a disservice. tim mcgraw's 15 year career has been among the most successful ever in country music. the new album southern voices will probably be his swan song with curb records though, and it is time for him to do his own thing. i understand & support his frustration with the label's handling of his music. tim still has hits in him and will keep producing them well into the next decade. this latest cd isn't his best but there are some good tracks here, like "you had to be there," "love you goodbye" & "mr. whoever you are." mr. mcgraw and his longtime producer byron gallimore are consistently paired with the finest country songwriters for poignant, well produced country ballads & midtempo cuts. these country ballads are the new soft rock. this will be another #1 for tim mcgraw.

What the hell is with the top tracks? Everybody knows that his best songs are the ones released prior (and with) Greatest Hits (the first volume). His new stuff for the most part can't hold a candle to the old.
