Desde 1992, Tiga ha sido parte fundamental de la escena electrónica en Norte América. Sin llegar a la treintena, este DJ, productor, diseñador y empresario ha estado envuelto en innumerables proyectos y ha actuado en cientos de eventos. Estuvo expuesto desde muy joven a la cultura de la fiesta. Mientras crecía pasaba la mitad del año en Montreal y la otra mitad viajando por el mundo en compañía de sus padres. Su padre fue su primera influencia ya que antes que el hijo hizo currículo como Dj fiestas genuinas en Goa desde el 73 hasta finales de los 80. A la edad de 12 ya había pasado muchas noches en raves y conocía la cultura del DJ desde dentro. En 1991 visita Europa y se da cuenta de que su estilo de vida entre hippie y raver podía trasladarse a las ciudades occidentales. Así que intentó llevar ese estilo a su ciudad natal: Montreal. Aunque Montreal había tenido de siempre un gran desarrollo de la escena disco gracias a los gays, la escena house del 90-92 dejó a Tiga un poco insatisfecho y desencantado. Así que empezó a montar pequeñas fiestas con la ayuda de un grupo de amigos. Estas fiestas fueron creciendo en tamaño y en número y puede decirse que fueron la vía de entrada en Montreal de conceptos como DJ invitado, flyers, promoción en las calles… Todo esto culminaría con la celebración de la rave Solstice de 1993, la primera auténtica rave que hubo en Montreal. A partir de ahí, Tiga siguió montando fiestas, empezó con residencias semanales en Angel´s y Metrópolis, comenzó un programa de radio que duró hasta 1997 (6 años).
