The Verve Pipe tuvieron una vez un gran éxito con una canción llamada «The Freshmen», que fue extarída del álbum del mismo nombre. «Villains» salió en 1996, pero no obtuvo un éxito tan masivo como «The Freshmen», que fue uno de los mega hits en radio en los años 1995 y 1996 en todo el mundo. El álbum incluía doce canciones más, incluidos los singles «Cattle» y «Barely». Otros temas eran «Drive You Mild», «Reverend Girl», «Penny Is Poison» y «Cup Of Tea». The Verve Pipe editaron otros discos como «Underneath» (2001), «I’ve Suffered A Head Injury» (1997) y «Platinum & Gold Collection» (2004).

This band was amazing in the 90's and being that they are from my home state, well...I just have to love them. "Never Let You Down" and "Colorful" are by far their best songs. Well...and of course how could forget about "Photograph". I miss this band.

unfortunatly this was the one hit everyone remember but this is a good band. This song, however, is definatly a wonder song. It's amazing. Makes me want to cry everytime due to the memories connected to it.
