The Starting Line es una banda pop punk de Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, EEUU, que se formó en 1999.
En la actualidad tienen contrato con Virgin Records.
En 1999, el guitarrista Matt Watts le envió un correo electrónico al vocalista y bajista Kenny Vasoli. Quería saber si Vasoli, que por entonces tenía 14 años y tocaba en una banda llamada Smash Adams, estaría interesado en tocar en Jamming And Shit.

Unas pocas semanas más tarde, Vasoli acudió a un ensayo de su futuro grupo, con Watts, el guitarrista Mike Golla y el batería Tom Gryskewicz.
Inicialmente, la banda había otro guitarrista llamado Ryan Altmiller, que tocó con ellos de sólo dos semanas y más tarde pasó a tocar en las bandas como Daylight y Racing Shadows en Lakeland.
Pronto, la banda comenzó a viajar con el nombre de Domingo Drive, y vendían merchandising de fabricación casera y un cassette con una demo titulada «Four Songs». Su primera publicación oficial fue una compilación a tres bandas con The Band y Jimmy Martes Comerciales. Cada uno aportó tres canciones, y el álbum se publicó en 2000.

Domingo Drive pronto se acercó a el Pueblo Records y pidieron producir una sesión de grabación (el infame, el Pueblo Records Sessions).

They aren't officially broken up, they claimed that it was just an indefinite hiatus (and they said something like "see you in 5 years") so there's definitely chance for a reunion I'd say. :)
