15 Jul 2013, 3:38 de Rezzo641968 was one of those years which was reasonably inactive (in my iTunes library). I'm going to briefly glance at my favourite albums and not go into too much detail, as only one of the following albums was a clear winner for me.
The Crazy World of Arthur Brown
The Rolling Stones: Beggars Banquet
Van Morrison: Astral Weeks
Frank Zappa/The Mothers of Invention: We're Only In It For The Money
So yeah, We're Only In It For The Money is the only real album from this year I can explicitly say was a great album (but don't get me wrong, the others are good too but this year doesn't really interest me). This album is a parody on psychedelic rock that was hitting the mainstream at the time, with goofy lyrics about hippies and other strange oddities that still haven't quite sunk in for me. Definitely give it a listen if you hate hippies.
