The Receiving End Of Sirens (abreviado como TREOS) fue una banda de rock proveniente de Braintee, Massachusetts, en 2003. La banda incorpora muchos elementos de diferentes géneros como el metal, la música electrónica, el punk y el rock progresivo. Ellos prefieren autodenominarse «experimentales», y muchos seguidores suyos prefieren decir que hacen «rock progresivo con tendencias experimentales».
La banda tocó en 2005 en el Warped Tour con grupos como 30 Seconds To Mars, Funeral For A Friend, Saves The Day, Senses Fail o Thrice.
Su primer tour propio, «The New Hope Tour» comenzó el 31 de marzo de 2006. Allí estuvieron bandas como Hit The Lights.
El 18 de marzo de 2008, anunciaron su separación. La principal razón fue que Brendan, el cantante y bajista, iba a tener un hijo, y era su prioridad.

I went to their "last" show in Providence, RI, and it was incredible. I saw Alex (wicked nice guy) at a Motion City/Chiodos show at the same venue months later and he said that he's always down to play music and reunite with the guys already when I asked him about it, but I haven't heard anything else besides that. We need a reunion, we need a DVD of that show, because it was suuuch a good show, and we need a new album.
