Andy's 2-hour April show includes highlights of his recent trip to Denmark, with an interview and exclusive live track from the Copenhagen launch party of Alex Canasta's second album 'Safe Inside', along with tracks from the LP and a competition to win copies of it on CD. There's also a session from trance act Curtis & Craig, featuring Martin Craig, otherwise known as previous session guest Cygnus X-1. New music comes from Pure Love, MS MR, The Gummy Web, Team Ghost, New Order, Findlay, David Bowie and Delphic, plus regular guest spots Dad's Discs and Scott's Funky Five Minutes.
Dandelion Roots this month is hosted by Gareth Main, whose adoration for all music Jamaican-influenced shows itself in a new monthly night in London starting this month.
Plug out the way, the quality of artists throughout this hour speaks volumes, from star MCs including Pupajim, Soom T and Daddy Freddy, to the leading producers of the modern day…

Andy introduces two shows during April's schedule. His regular 3-hour show features a brand new session from progressive trance act Cygnus X-1 - his second for the show. There's exciting new (and some old) music from Sleigh Bells, Harrys gym, Napoleon IIIrd, Red Cosmos, Dave.i.d, Trembling Blue Stars, The Horn The Hunt, Sabres of Paradise, Swans and Team Ghost, to name just a handful. Teresa introduces a Tasty Tip, Scott selects a Funky Five Minutes, and there's another competition to win a bumper bundle of CDs.Elsewhere in the schedule, Andy's Archives is back, with an hour of top tunes from ten or more years ago, randomly picked from Andy's record collection. Classic tracks come from Curve, 808 State, Aphex Twin and many more!
Greg Healey: Five, four, two. No, not a defensively minded line up selected to nullify the attacking fluency of Arsenal, but rather this month's show from Greg Healey, which features five sessions over four hours divided into two, two hours shows. …
17 Mar 2011, 9:46 de AlicksryteWed 16 Mar – The Primitives
This was an enjoyable gig at a nice little venue,The Joiners. Both support acts,Subdued and The Morphic Fields, were good and both also had singers with an excellent voice.Subdued were quite rocky, whereas The Morphic Fields had a few grooves going on within their sound too. They were two local bands well worth catching.
The Primitivesdeliver brilliant feel good music live much as they do on record.(I saw a cartoon on their merchandise with a girl saying she must put on a Primitives record to cheer herself up and I thought yeah, that sums it up well.) There were a lot of favourites amongst the setlist, sick of it all and Crash to mention just a couple,as well a few songss off the new E.P..The band played well, had a decent rapport going with the crowd and even weathered a guitar technical hitch before the encore pretty well.I confess to spending a lot of the time gazing at and listening adoringly to Tracey Tracey-when I wasn't dancing about like a nutter that is!
