Neil Young + Carole King + "HEAD" = a really rad jam.

Love this song, and the sequence in Head <3 Well, I love all of Head, but this is particularly lovely. [x2] Truly, Carole King was something else as a songwriter. [x2] This song is just about perfect. [x2]

@MistaApocalypse - I was dumbfounded too, when this first came on. Beautiful.

A beautiful song by a great band. Every time I play this song to my friends they love it and then look dumbfounded when they find out that The Monkees sang it. I loved the movie 'Head' - it was about as meaningless as life but great to experience. I also recommend 'The Porpoise Song' also written by Carole King (there is a very early version of her singing this demo on YouTube). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYbSPgNrDh4

Possibly my favourite song of all time. It reminds me of falling in love with my wife. I could never hear it too many times. Truly, Carole King was something else as a songwriter.

This song is just about perfect. Then again, most of what Carole King was writing back then was pure magic. The scene it was used over in the movie "Head" just adds to it's wonderfulness.
