The Field Mice ¿El grupo más representativo de Sarah Records? es posible, solo ellos estuvieron a punto de conseguir ser un grupo importante, de éxito, entonces decidieron disolverse. Antes de esto y durante casi cuatro años publicaron multitud de discos y escribieron como nadie canciones sobre el amor, desamor, la pena …y, en general, todos aquellos sentimientos de los que nos resulta tan difícil hablar. Bob Wratten se ha convertido para mucha gente en un ser especial, alguien que ha retratado a la perfección toda aquello que les ha podido afectar en una etapa de su vida y que encuentran en las canciones de The Field Mice.
Junto a Bob Wratten estuvieron en The Field Mice, entre otros: Mark Dobson, Michael Hiscock, Annemari Davies, que acabó siendo su pareja y Harvey Williams de Another Sunny Day. Tras la desaparición del grupo Bob y Annemari formarán Nothern Picture Library con discos en Vinyl Japan y Sarah Records y al romperse su relación Bob en solitario crea Trembling Blue Stars.
