The Essex Green are an amazing band! I love the male-female dynamic, and their musicanship is just so rich! My favourite songs by them would have to include Lazy May, This Isn't Farmlife, Don't Know Why (You Stay), Cardinal Points, Mrs. Bean, Julia, The Late Great Cassopia, Sorry River, and The Playground, but I love them all! Their albums are all so consistent....there's no drop-off, in my opinion, from song to song! I'm crossing my fingers for a new album sometime soon! I know they've been taking some down time since their spring 2007 tour.....and that they played a sole show back in October 2008....but other than that, there hasn't been a lot of updates lately! Hopefully we'll be updated this summer, and get a new album in fall 2009, or spring 2010!
