The Dust Brothers son «E.Z. Mike» (Michael Simpson) y «King Gizmo» (John King), productores afincados en Los Angeles famosos por sus producciones basadas sobre todo en samplers en los 80’. A destacar su trabajo en los albumes «Paul’s Boutique» de Beastie Boys y Odelay de Beck.
Su único album hasta la fecha ha sido la banda sonora para la película «Fight club» en 1999.
Como nota curiosa, The Dust Brothers fué el nombre utilizado por The Chemical Brothers en sus inicios, hasta que al alcanzar cierto grado de popularidad en los 90’ tuvieron que cambiar el nombre.
