The Crüxshadows es un grupo de música independiente de Tallahassee, Florida (Estados Unidos), formada en 1992. Su estilo combina el violín, la guitarra y los sintetizadores con la expresiva voz de su vocalista y compositor, Rogue. En cuanto a las letras, se puede decir que poseen una temática diversa tocando asuntos como el amor, el desamor, la mitología, los sueños, entre otros.

Han tenido gran éxito dentro de la escena gótica mundial, editando varios cds y haciendo giras por Norte América, Europa y Asia. También han logrado entrar a la lista Billboard con los singles «Sophia»(#1 Billboard Hot Dance Singles, #7 Billboard Hot Singles) y «Birthday» (#1 Billboard Hot Dance Singles, #2 Billboard Hot Singles)
Otra caractarística del grupo es el constante cambio de los integrantes, manteniéndose desde el comienzo sólo Rogue.

I wish they'd re-master ...Night Crawls In and repackage it like they did with Telemetry, some of my favourite songs are on that album, but I can't get my hands on a copy of the tape anywhere :(

Its killing me to see Dreamcypher top, don't get me wrong its an amazing album, but the only reason its on top is because it was Birthday that made them popular with the masses, so to speak... so many greater works by them out there, Ethernaut and Mystery of the Whisper are great and relatively easy to get hold of. ...Night Crawls in is amazing too but its understandable why its not very high as its real rare.
