Fundado a finales de los 90 en el Reino Unido, Cooper Temple Clause hacían hard rock alternativo/post punk en la onda de Nirvana y los Libertines. En el año 2000 firmaron con RCA y poco después lanzaron su primer EP titulado «Hardware/Warfare». Tras varias giras, se convirtieron en una banda muy respetada de la escena alternativa británica y todavía editaron otro single «Film maker/Been» que entró rápidamente en las listas del Reino Unido. Su álbum de debut «See This Through and Leave», editado en el 2002, les hizo famosos en toda Europa.

    "Been Training Dogs" is one of the good tracks. I remember the performances on such shows like totp, made the show worth watching when one of these alternative appeared. Shame they've split as it would be nice to see bands like this as well as others like Hell is for heroes and the others what split what were good during 2000-2005
