It's that time of year eh? This was the first time I did a year-end "best of" list and it was seriously hella hard to do. I wanted to do a top 10 but I couldn't fit in all the songs I loved this year. And then I kept finding new songs I felt should be on the list, so I revised and reordered like a million times (my OCD). Of course, there's bound to be a few gems that I missed. I’m happy with the final result though. It’s kind of eclectic, and heavily influenced by my beloved KCRW and their world-class stable of DJs.

The criteria for this list was 1) the overall beauty and spectacularness of the music, 2) how massive of a tune it was, 3) how many times I listened to it during the year(according to iTunes), 4) any interesting quirks about the song or artist that I found endearing, and 5) had to be released in 2006.
