People can you feel it? Love is everywhere
People can you hear it? The song is in the air
We're in a revolution, don't you know we're right
Everyone is singing, yeah, there'll be no one to fight

Dickey Betts did get fired by Gregg Allman over a year ago or two years ago for drinking to much but he sure was a GREAT guitar player & if he sobers up he still could be one.

I first saw The ABB in 1969 when they opened for Quicksilver at The Fillmore West and they blew me away!!! Talk about upstaging the headliners. And Quicksilver was no slouch in those days.

I'm not sure Brother Betts is ever coming back to the ABB fold. Dickey Betts has had his share of personal demons of course which is a story for another day. They have all had their problems,no doubt. However about 10 years ago Dickey B was ousted and fired from The Band by way of FAX by the rest of the guys. Fired by a fax machine? Seriously, who does that shit nowadays? I don't blame him,I wouldn't go back, either.

Just saw the ABB with Santana and tt was mind blowing..the bands compliment each other beautifully...if you didnt leave that show inspired and uplifted, then you missed the big picture
