I remember I got their albums because they were "like" U2 the record store owner said. This was so new, I didn't even hear it play but bought it. I may still have that vinyl somewhere but it was played for over 20 years.

....They may have blew them off the stage in 1983 but (2) many classic songs have The Alarm got in their repertoir? Still, never mind, better to have written one classic than none at all..........

Much maligned by the trendy London music critics, but they were pretty essential to a working class Welsh lad in the early 80's !

I love this song...and to Me Jesus of Suburbia sound like a medley of cover songs...this being part of the medley.

Never got the acclaim they deserved. If U2 had written this, everyone would have raved about it.

They may have blew them off the stage in 1983 but fast forward 25 years and U2 is still spinning the gold............ go figure.
