The Chemical Brothers es un dúo inglés de música electrónica. Lo componen Tom Rowlands y Ed Simons, que se conocieron en la universidad mientras estudiaban historia medieval. Al principio se hacían llamar «The Dust Brothers», pero según creció su popularidad lo tuvieron que cambiar, dado que ya existía otro grupo en Estados Unidos con el mismo nombre.
Junto con The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim y otros más, fueron los pioneros del género big beat. A lo largo de los años con sus diferentes trabajos discográficos han demostrado ser pioneros de la electrónica, no tanto a la hora de inventar estilos sino al mejorarlos.
También son conocidos por sus estupendos directos.
En 2006 ganaron un premio Grammy por
Galvanize.
