Studio Albums: One (2011), Altered State (2013)

Muy interesante uso de acentos y movimientos métricos.

i like both ashe and dan for different reasons. i'd actually love to hear a double album collaboration. disc 1, dan on vocals and on disc 2, ashe on vocals and on one song, a duet!! the album can be called Yin and Yang.

On odyssey you can really tell that Dan has to struggle with Ashe's songs.

The last thing Tesseract needs at this moment is screaming. Ashe sang some absolutely mesmerizing melodies on Altered State, which brought the best out of their music.

"Weird situation where everyone loves both Dan and Ashe so much that nobody can really tell whether this is good or bad lol" Nobody? Speak for yourselves. I think Dan is far superior.

I mean, it's technically insane progressive music... But the overall impression is that nothing stands out. And the new vocalist really doesn't work for me...

@forfrosne it's okay, ashe will kick just as much ass in his other band voices from the fuselage. but for Tesseract's NEXT...NEXT album (obviously not the one they're working on now) they can do a double sided LP kind of like what skyharbor did and have two vocalists in one LP. would be pretty sick imo. best of both worlds and everyone would be happy.

Weird situation where everyone loves both Dan and Ashe so much that nobody can really tell whether this is good or bad lol [10] Both were amazing. I wish Ashe the best of luck. I did like that Dan can pull off harsh vocals as well though, means that Tesseract's sound can have a bit more diversity and aggression.

É ótimo ter o Dan de volta, mas vê-lo cantar as músicas do Altered State me dá uma aflição absurda.

I much prefer Ashe to Dan in tesseract ,but I just heard Skyharbor and it's pretty obvious that Dan has improved alot so I'm really stoked for new stuff.

Dan's are diverse? What? His monotone whining was what killed One for me. He has a great voice but he either screams (in a monotone way) or meows without any consideration for melody and variation. His vocals enchanted me on the first listen, but with each song I had more and more enough of him. Ashe was able to sustain variation throughout the album without resorting to screams even once.
