Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen Cabuli soprano lírico Dramática nacida el 17 de agosto de 1977 en Kitee, Finlandia, famosa por formar parte del grupo de Symphonic Power Metal Nightwish, donde combinó el entrenamiento clásico de su voz con la instrumentación del Metal. En octubre de 2005 fue expulsada de Nightwish por diferencias con el resto de la agrupación.
Tarja reside actualmente en Buenos Aires, Argentina, y desde allí planea lanzar su carrera solista, que ha comenzado discográficamente en el 2004 con el single «One Angel’s Dream» (cuando todavía era parte de Nightwish) y aparentemente continuará con proyectos en ambas vertientes, la clásica y la metalera.
Tarja finalizó en octubre del 2006 la grabación de un disco navideño, «Henkäys Ikuisuudesta» («Aliento del Cielo»). El lanzamiento oficial fue el 8 de noviembre de ese mismo año, mientras que el primer single de este disco, «You Would Have Loved This» fue lanzado el 25 de octubre.
Éste álbum navideño ya es disco de platino, con más de 30.000 copias vendidas en Finlanda.
El 9 de Noviembre del 2007 apareció My Winter Storm, su esperado primer disco tras su separación de Nightwish, el primer single tenía por título I Walk Alone.

At least not the Scandinavian Liv, but the Scandinavian I as used in such words is pretty uncommon in most languages, it's not really pronounced as ee in see (or ea in leave), but almost. And Liv means life in Norwegian, Danish and Swedish by the way. </boring>

But EVERYONE is called David or Daniel. Christopher is great too but same problem xDD
