Yeah I know, you probably think it was just one of those theoretical connective models...

Одна из самых интересных, и странных групп что я встречал. Также парням не откажешь в хорошем чувстве юмора.

@JamesHippieKid Honestly I would extend that point to their discography in general, some of their releases are a bit too lo fi at times for me to love like I do with the best SCG releases.

High Asia is a pretty good album. It's a little more comprehensible than their usual stuff, but they still manage to fuck around as usual.

I kind of have to agree with both sides on the live 'dicking around stuff'. Some of it can be very listenable, but it being so lo-fi and so abstract it can make some album not as enjoyable as their more structured studio albums. I like improv and I like lo-fi, but yeah, it can be too much at times. But, yeah when this band is on point they are one of the best.

I dissagree, I find the band when the band are 'just dicking around on stage' they are still pretty interesting to listen to, though I guess it's easy for me as I really like their improv stuff and love when they adopt different personas as they did on albums like the first Cloaven live album.

as Mark Prindle says about them "for some reason they feel that every single note that they've ever played deserves to be released - which makes for some incredibly annoying lo-fi live recordings of the band just dicking around on stage." but when they're on , their music is otherworldly & wonderful

Listen to Horse Cock Phepner and then Torch of the Mystics and then Funeral Mariachi and you will change your mind. If you only had to listen to one more song, though, make it Radar 1941. It was like they made that song to say to people, "Hey look! We DO know how to play our instruments amazingly well. We just don't want to, so fuck off if you don't like it."

Chamakay, I understand you not liking their improv and highly experimental pieces, but if you listen to tracks like 'Different Kind Of Whore', 'Radio Morocco', Rookoobay', 'Cruel & Thin', 'Blue Mambo', Kickin' The Dragon and 'Nites Of Malta' etc. you might realize that the girls were genuinely talented and didn't always create the highly experimental and hard to listen to pieces you may have been exposed to.
