Subhumans es una banda punk inglesa formada en 1980.
La banda lanzó un demo en 1981 llamado «Demolition War». Este demo fue escuchado por uno de los miembros de Flux of Pink Indians. Estos quedaron tan impresionados con el trabajo de Subhumans que le ofrecieron sacar un album en la discográfica Spiderleg creada por Flux of Pink Indians. Más tarde comenzaron a sacar albumes con su propia doscográfica «Bluurg»,
A fines de 1985 la banda se separa, Dick Lucas forma Culture Shock en 1986 y luego Citizen Fish en 1990.
En 1991 volvieron a reunirse para dar varios conciertos, e hicieron lo mismo en 1998.
En el 2007 sacaron un nuevo album llamado «Internal Riot» y realizaron un tour en Europa y EEUU dicho año.
