En el año 2000 la banda publicó un disco que combinaba el rock de Scorpions con una orquesta de música clásica. Bajo el título de «Berliner Philharmoniker - Moment of Glory» se fusionaron las canciones clásicas de Scorpions con los sonidos de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Berlín, considerada una de las mejores del mundo. El tema «Moment Of Glory» presente en este disco fue el himno oficial de la Expo 2000 de Hannover, ciudad natal de Scorpions. Dentro de esta época de cierta decadencia éste es su trabajo más destacable.
