{As gray traces of dawn tinge the eastern sky
The three travelers, men of Willow dale emerge from the forest shadow
Fording the river dawn, they turn south
Journeying into the dark and forbidding lands of the necromancer}

    "The tapping part in the solo reminds me a lot of Child In Time!" Oh, so I wasn't the only one who heard that :D Anyway, great track and very underrated album! Better than any album from "synthesizer era" imo.

    CHEESY???!! Why you mothe... That "cheesy" narrator's voice is none other than.... Mr. Neil Peart(thru a synth of course). He turned the band onto high brow literature, middle earth poetry, and fiction writings. He wrote a lot of the lyrics that became some of the most iconic RUSH tunes of all time. Geddy and Alex, being right out of highschool said he was the most intelligent person they had ever met when he joined the band after John Rutsey.

    One of the best songs by Rush, but I agree the narrator's voice is kind of cheesy. They should re-release this song and have Sean Connery do the narration or something lol

    Jesus Christ why does music suck so much nowadays? What I would do to see these guys live in the 70s/80s!

    I just can't get into this song...shame too, seems they spent a lot of time composing it.

    Brilliant song, among Rush's very best just like Fountain. The only thing I don't like is the narrator's voice, it's just too damn cheesy.
