Radio K.A.O.S. >>>>>> Amused To Death. Feel free to disagree.

Amused to Death was great, but this is another album proving how wrong some artists can go in terms of production and arrangement. Curiously, a lot of examples for that are from the 1980s/early 1990s.

I called this album Radio G.A.Y.O.S for years and it is the beginning of the end for Roger...where Board to Death sealed the coffin, I didn't even bother with the opera.

The production might not be timeless, yet the songs are.

Not my favorite of his albums.....but The Tide Is Turning is his best song!

Is this his best or worst solo album (not counting "The Final Cut")? I'm undecided. Trying to imagine a KAOS/Momentary Lapse hybrid (as if Roger never left) doesn't excite me at all, though.

Not a horrible album, but most of the tracks are just way too 80's for me (Though I love 'Me or Him' and 'The Tide is Turning'). Maybe it will grow on me after a few listens, but right now I really don't care much for it at all. Not to mention the fact that I want to punch every one of the DJs in the face

were the last 2 tracks, CD-extras or extras for different territories, as my vinyl copy only has 8 on it. I've just noticed the difference on last.fm and it's going to bug me

I agree with wfraga - The concept is somewhat ridiculous and Jim Ladd (the radio guy) is just annoying. Still - Home and The Powers that be are decent songs. And it's even more 80s-overproduced and slightly sterile than A Momentary Lapse of Reason which came out in the same year.
