uh... hey. (voice of /Buckley's Ghost/ [KOTH]): nice trampoline. tell me about Fantastic Planet. (okay, crap-- it doesn't work as /Buckley's Ghost/, cause he's too stupid to recognize the need for education in such matters... not to mention, generally rude, which i prefer not to be). but seriously-- i am interested in all this. please forgive my ignorance (please disregard my loneliness, please excuse my vacant stares, etc.)

You know, the "stranded on a desert island, CD list" thing? I'd probably have to have this one in there. Considering such a short list, as the Q implies, perhaps it must be left behind, but eventually-- i'd be very bummed-- that, of course if i outlasted the inevitable onset of various pharmaceutical withdrawal symptoms / syndrome (eh-- your basic list, maintenance notwithstanding), thirst, and starvation-- enough to be concerned with things of art, music, etc.

Everything Ken(and company) touches turns to gold. I love the sound that seems to follow him around wherever he goes -- the slightly off, melancholic tones that touch me like most music never even gets close to doing. Great artists, I wish more would take notes.

Ken Andrews and Greg Edwards, along with their highly talented group of friends, are by far the best musicians of the last few none !

Agreed, I remember meeting Ken when Fantastic Planet was released... He was amazed at how much we loved this record. The production of this album is more influential than the songs on it!
