This such a great cover, and I love the original. Just played the heck out of Dead letter Office when it came out, I think I may have this on vinyl :o

R.E.M. through to "Out of Time" was the forefathers of Jangle Pop. I loved all of their irreverence and rawness which was a perfect balance to their more serious moments. Talk about a band that needs to get back to their roots!

this Albums a wee Gem,quirky and entertaining and the new version with Chronic Town's just the Dog's Gonads! I also wish they'd make good music like this again! Their Last 4 Albums are pretty Crappy methinks! No maybe their Last 3 just as UP is growing on me ever so slightly nowadays

Crazy, Burning Down, the Voice of Harold (I like this one better than 7 Chinese Bros), Burning Down, Toys, and so many others make this a really great album. Then when you put Chronic Town at the end of it, you've really got something else. Wolves, Lower and Gardening at Night are phenominal.

Stipe from the 80s needs to kick today's Stipe's a$$!! He's lost his humour, and talent.

I miss these days of R.E.M.... it seems like they're too serious to ever do anything like this collection of hidden gems again. sigh
