Queensrÿche, (pronunciado «kuínsraik») es un grupo de metal progresivo creado en 1981 en Bellevue, (Washington), cerca de Seattle, (Estados Unidos). El grupo ha editado un EP y nueve álbumes de estudio y, hasta 2006, continúa haciendo giras y grabando.

@Breaking-Wheel- For me, it would be: Promised Land (great), O:MCII (v. good), Tribe (fairly good). American Soldier (rather good), Hear (don't much like), Q2K (dislike). The other albums are excluded as they're assumed to be in a separate league.

The later albums definitely lack a bit of comparative lustre at times, most probably due to the absence of Chris DeGarmo but none of Queensryche's stuff is "bad". Guess that's just the price you pay for setting the bar so high so early.
