Veteranos de la escena underground neoyorquina, Prong combina una mezcla de trash y speedmetal, un sonido muy variante con sequencias muy progresivas. Liderados por Tommy Victor, han sufrido diferentes etapas desde que editaron su primer LP en 1990. En 2007, Victor volvió a unir al grupo, y editaron «Power of the Damager».

They totally rule. 1st albums it GREAT for its times, probably the most original thrash band back then. And now - their latest album (Power of the Damager) is again the best, but in a very hard to classify genre of metal/rock. Their riffs are aboslutely original, as always. Great piece of art.
