oh yeah, live drum set. I think Astma uses one too (another on the Swedish anhalt scrap heap, but indeed a good one). I agree though, they should be used more often. I was just listening to DAF and forgot about "Mein herz macht bum"; Gabi was doing all the huffing and hawing (vocal style) well before McCarthy.

Rage is a great album. Although honestly i didn't really like anything else by these guys after that.

Hey mate. Yeah, I discovered Kropp long time ago and have it among my top ten artists on the old profile ;D I agree that it is like a successor to That Total Age. I also have several songs beyond and before that Kroppmusikk album, so send me a PM if you are interested and I can return the Mediafire favor. Kropp is also one of the very few ebm bands that use proper live drum set both in studio and live (as far as I have seen, only DAF, ADAC 8286 and KROPP have done this), which I think lacks in the scene!

Hey fishzerg, just checking but have you heard Kropp's album? I could swear that I had run into your s/n before in regards to Kropp, but not 100% positive. Anyway, if you hold That Total Age in high esteem, it goes without saying you need to listen to the Kroppmusikk album, and do so with reckless, loud abandon. Kropp literally picks up where NE left off in That Total Age. If you need the album, contact me and let me know, I'll put it up on Mediafire for you.

Most hard hitting, heavy, bad-ass release since That Total Age by NE. That's my opinion.

Being that it's PF, I agree its still better than most, if not everything else I hear in similar music style. Henrik can really do no wrong vocally, so always a highlight there. I actually think Stahlwerk and Death Is Natural sound WAY better as they've been presented here, so no problem there. Also, tracks like I Am, Symptom, Invader 39 and Satan's Organism being stand-out cuts that provide great listening enjoyment. That being said, however, I still think tracks like Elite Electronics, Where Are You, Happy Dead and Fear Me are some of the hardest hitting stuff they've ever done and would like to hear more "modern" electronic ideas in similar vein. I suppose my expectations were really high with this one given the lapse in time from Elite Electronics, and it comes as a bit of let down when you're expecting new material only to hear stuff you've come across before. As for The Promulgation, maybe it sounds too much like a CAP out-take? That's as best I can figure anyway lol

Yesterday I finally got The Dirt in my mailbox. Better late than never. And seriously, it pisses over everything released in the Anhalt scene and that includes crushing albums like "Love, Hate N' Rage" by A.D.A.C. 8286 and Elite!'s "Totenkopf". And I have to disagree with you Sublime, but I think it sounds much better than Elite Electronics too. I get you point about old songs being rewritten but the twisted arrangements and powerful production make it all sound fresh, yet raw and heavy in the vein only PF can do it. I don't care about Stahlwerk and Death Is Natural being old classics rewritten either because they sound so much more crushing now. The only song that I find a bit weaker is The Promulgation, the rest of the album is total winner. And anybody understanding swedish will laugh his/her ass off hearing the sample in Radio Disturbance. Hail PF!

I like the album, pretty reminiscent of Rage (and it follows that it should be since the majority of songs are outtakes or unreleased tracks from early in their career---you can hear a lot of the originals on the 2CD release). My only complaint is I would like to have had an album that was freshly written and more in style of Elite Electronics. Hopefully on the next one, assuming they're recharged and motivated about working on PF.

POUPPEE FABRIKK was never about perfection or being nice: "We don't need to fake the aggression. We don't need to dress up. We do our thing, and if you like it, join the party. If not, fuck off!", he adds. With a minimalistic powerful electronic style that was often compared to pioneers like DAF and NITZER EBB, POUPEE FABRIKK are the leaders of the EKM movement (Elektronisk Kroppsmusik) - physical music that makes you want to get up and move.
