Comfortably Numb («Cómodamente adormecido»), es la sexta canción del segundo disco de la ópera rock The Wall («El muro») del grupo Pink Floyd. Canción cuya música fue creada por Gilmour para su primer álbum como solista. Gilmour trajo el demo a las grabaciones de The Wall, que posteriormente quedaría incluida en el álbum. Waters escribió la letra y algunos arreglos dándole sus estructura característica, fácilmente diferenciable del demo original. Esta canción es considerada como una de las mejores creaciones que la banda inglesa ha realizado, ya que es recurrentemente incluida en las presentaciones que han hecho tanto Pink Floyd, como por David Gilmour después del lanzamiento del The Wall. También fue el tema de cierre en la última presentación que hizo el cuarteto en su reunión en uno de los conciertos de «Live 8», lo que fue un evento mundial de enfoque de ayuda, organizado por el protagonista de la película Pink Floyd The Wall, Bob Geldof. Considerado por muchos el mejor solo de guitarra de la historia, realizado por David Gilmour.
