personally Justin is more artistic in my opinion, but paul has a better sound for metal, TOOL is not metal...

I don't think tool went uphill or downhill after Paul left. Love his contributions to some of tool's best songs, but they are no better then what we heard after he left. Tool was lucky to get Justin on board, he slotted in so well! All tool albums are equally as good as one another in my books.

Right, he was very good, but listen to Schism or The Pot... I think that the change bassplayer to Justin was a good moove. Do anybody know in which band D'Amour is playing or used to play after Tool?

ROFL... went down hill?! Are you out of your fucking mind? Opiate-AEnima was great, don't get me wrong, but Lateralus was and still is by leaps and bounds their best album. If I were him, I'd probably be contemplating suicide right now... ya'know? If I willingly left one of the greatest bands of all time, I know I sure wouldn't be a happy camper. As far as his contributions went - I seriously doubt he had much of a say in what got done. With powerhouses like Maynard and Adam, how could he?

One of my favorite bass players of all time. Tool went down the hill so fast after his departure... A lot of people don't know, but he was one of the main contributors to Aenima, one of Tools most acclaimed albums.
